More unfortunate baby names

The strange names of babies is a recurring theme in the blog because there are always common sense parents in all countries of the world who put ridiculous names on their children.

We've talked about some strange baby names in Britain and this time I want to focus on Mexico, where they allow in almost every state that parents give their children the names they want no matter how bizarre they may be.

Thus there are children called Yahoo, Shakira, Tree (some environmental parents), Snow White, Hermione (Harry Potter's friend), Michelin (yes, like tires) or Carlo Corinto (the name of a perfume) and the worst, Aeropajita (a postal company), to name a few that have called my attention especially for not saying that they have seemed pathetic.

The law allows the child to change his name when he reaches the age of majority, but of course, by now the worst is over. The hardest stage to cope with a ridiculous name is childhood, we know that children can become very cruel (if not, tell me by calling me Dolores).

There are those who demand that legislation be legislated throughout the country so as not to allow a child to be given 25 names and to avoid meaningless names or to ridicule those who wear them, both solutions that seem necessary to me considering the lush imagination of some parents , although who decides which name is ridiculous and which is not? Where is the measure? Who and with what parameters does it measure it?

Because there are very sensible judges who do not allow to call a 4Real baby, but there are also others like one from Murcia who did not allow a child to be called Noa or another who did not let Colombian parents register their daughter with the name of Beliza, for giving a couple of examples of names that are very normal compared to those listed above.

Of course, I am an advocate that parents have the right to give our children the name they want but always within limits that if they themselves do not have to be imposed by someone, for the sake of the child.
