"Childhood is magical, you will only be a child once": Mark Zuckerberg's emotional letter to his second newborn daughter

Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla they have introduced the world to their second daughter, August, To who they have welcomed you with a letter posted yesterday on your Facebook profile.

He has already announced that this time he will also take two months of paternity leave to enjoy the first months of his baby, just like he did when his daughter Max was born, who will turn two in November.

In the photo that accompanies the letter we can see the whole family in the living room of her house while little Max plays with the little pieces of her new sister. Mark heads the post commenting that he and his wife are happy to welcome their daughter August to the world. And they add: "We wrote you a letter about the world in which we hope to see it grow, hoping it doesn't grow too fast."

Dear August,

Welcome to the world! Your mom and I are very excited to see who you will become. When your sister was born, we wrote a letter about the world in which we expected her, and now you, to grow up, a world with better education, fewer diseases, stronger communities and greater equality. We write that with all the advances in science and technology, your generation should live dramatically better lives than ours, and we have a responsibility to do our part to make that happen. Although headlines tend to focus on what's wrong, we still believe that positive trends will win. We are optimistic about your generation and the future.

But instead of writing about growth, we want to talk about childhood. The world can be a serious place. That is why it is important to have time to go out and play.

You will be busy when you grow up, so I hope you take the time to smell all the flowers and store all the leaves you want in a bucket. I hope you read your favorite books so many times that you start inventing your own stories about Vipper of Vipp. I hope you ride the carousel so many times with Max until you have tamed each horse. I hope you run as many laps around our living room and patio as you want. And I also hope you take many naps. I hope you are a great sleeper. And I hope that even in your dreams you can feel how much we love you.

The childhood is magical. You'll only be a girl once, so don't waste your time worrying too much about the future. For that you have us, and We will do our best to make sure the world is a better place for you and for all the children of your generation.

August, we love you very much and we are very excited to undertake this adventure with you. We wish you a life of joy, love and the same hope you give us.

We love you,

Mom and Dad
