Disney princesses come together for the first time in a movie and the advancement of their appearance has left us with a very good taste. We have seen them in the new trailer for 'Ralph Break the Internet', the second part of 'Break Ralph', where they laugh at the topics around them. And they make us all laugh.
The great Disney crossover, for some the best of all time, tells the story of Ralph and Vanellope's trip to the internet. There the little girl meets the group of princesses in a video game and ends up being included in the family, because after all, she is also a princess. You will see why.
In their online adventure, the protagonists visit different corners of the network. One of them is 'Oh my Disney', a site full of fictional characters from the house, including Snow White, Yasmine, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Elsa, Moana, Anna, Bella, Rapunzel, Tiana, Mérida and Aurora (a Ariel is not seen).
In a fun scene of self-referential humor Vanellope enters by surprise in the room of the princesses, who ask the little girl for proof that she is also one of them.
They ask her if she has any magical abilities, such as magic hair or magic hands, if she has been poisoned, cursed, kidnapped or enslaved, to which the girl answers "no" ... And they continue:
- Does everyone assume that your problems are solved when a big and strong man appears?
-Yes! What is all this about?
-She is a princess!
More feminist and more modern princesses
It's a wink from Disney that aims to get away from the classic clichés of weak princesses that must be rescued by a prince and pointing to a new feminist wave of brave and self-sufficient princesses.
We have already seen this trend with the creation of more modern characters such as Mérida, Elsa, who finds love where you least expect it, or Vaiana (Moana), for example.
We will have to wait for the movie's premiere on December 5, 2018 to see if they keep surprising us in the movie.
