More solidarity toys for sale to help the Save the Children Foundation

There are many initiatives that are carried out to help certain solidarity organizations for children in the third world, one of them is the one carried out by the Alcampo hypermarket chain with the sale of solidarity toys, of which 0.25 cents of euro (of the price of each toy) they go to the Save the Children Foundation that will be in charge of investing that help in improving the terrible conditions to which many children are subjected.

Last year this commercial chain raised 27,000 euros for the NGO and this year the range of solidarity toys has increased with the intention of increasing sales and consequently the donation to Save the Children. In a way we find it supportive, although we are a little indignant that aid is conditioned on sales, children need help today, tomorrow may be too late. 27,000 euros is a ridiculous sum for a commercial chain of this size, they could perfectly contribute a donation without waiting for sales. If you really want to show how supportive they are, do not hide in the sale of some toys and advance that help.

All right, they are not obligated to anything but to clarify an issue is morally necessary, when someone helps selflessly, with respect, understanding and concern, they do not need to release the four winds they are collaborating. He does it and feels good about himself, with the NGOs it is different, they demand help and they already do what is humanly possible, but hey, less is nothing.

Be supportive but really, that a necessary help today is not conditioned by the sale of a toy and is offered tomorrow, it may be too late.
