World Day against child labor, Let's break the chains of child slavery

Today, like every June 12, the World Day Against Child Labor and from Babies and more we join the complaint of the situation suffered by many children. You cannot close your eyes to the exploitation that many children live, only in our country, 5,000 children are forced to prostitute themselves, while every year we see the numbers of child pornography grow. We are in a developed society, but it does not seem so, let's look at the figures worldwide.

The Save the Children organization has presented the report "Break the chains of child slavery", where they reflect that 218 million children around the world between the ages of 5 and 17 work, of which 126 million do very dangerous jobs and 8.5 million in subhuman conditions. The jobs that minors must perform most frequently are child trafficking, sexual exploitation for commercial purposes, forced labor due to family indebtedness, mining jobs, agriculture, forced marriage and domestic slavery.

According to a 2000 study conducted by UNICEF, work is considered when children do work for three hours or more daily and for five days a week.

The work and interest of many organizations is to put an end to these figures, to keep minors from the dangers and the work to which they are subjected. It cannot be said that it is what we all expect and that together we can achieve it, yes, we can also help.
