In the theme park of Puy du Fou in western France the falconry exhibition is spectacular (3/3)

In the video you can see a small sample of the spectacular falconry display from the theme park of Puy du Fou. In this case one of the owls which runs throughout the stage to the place occupied by the falconer and from there goes to another located in a huge natural setting and with a large audience capacity.

And it is that the falconry show takes place in a very old walled environment in which the legend tells that lived a girl who attracted unicorns and birds. The Falcon of Puy du Fou set in the park presents a lot of birds, from the owls with their more than a meter of wingspan, to the hawks, eagles and vultures with their almost two meters of wingspan alar. It is also fascinating to see the falcons and eagles plummet From an incredible height. And it is that many of the birds are in a balloon and the falconer calls them to participate in the show. And to see the birds with the folded wings doing the mincing is fascinating.

In the show they warn that all food must be stored so that the birds are not distracted. As the flights of the birds are very flush I recommend placing yourself in high areas of the stands to enjoy long flights In addition to sure that some of the birds fly over your head. And for the end they leave the most fascinating show that can be seen. All birds fly simultaneously, each at his own pace and each at the orders of the numerous falconers who occupy their positions. And while they throw food into the air and it is hypnotic to see the birds rush into those small prey. One of the brightest and best executed shows I've ever seen and in which the presence of the falconer is essential for the birds to shine and shine with their performance.

And after the flight you can visit the spaces that the birds have in the park in addition to that if you hurry you can still see the falconer with some of the birds on his arm to be very close to them. It is not allowed to play although taking pictures with them.

And to finish the series of this fantastic park I want to mention one of the novelty shows of 2012. It is a space enabled to enjoy the Fables of Jean de la Fontaine. It is an attraction where children can live adventures and let their imagination fly. And it is that this great author did not stop inventing fables in the seventeenth century and the park pays tribute to an extraordinary garden that houses moving statues, trees that speak, owls that sing, mysterious mists and roots that transform.

In a very well marked and lively route, children can see the animals (real and mechanical) that were part of the stories of La Fontaine. In addition there is some curious machine like this chicken egg collector that allowed the product of the layers to be collected automatically using a water mill. And you can also see, during the half hour of the tour, statues that wake up and come alive, trees and plants that dialogue and listen (in French) the stories of La Fontaine himself with voices provided by Gérard Depardieu and Lorànt Deutsch.

And we say goodbye to the series of Puy du Fou remembering some details of the park: the lush forest, the careful atmosphere, the information to access everywhere with pleasant walks, the animals that are throughout the park and especially the performances in direct that leave children and adults with their mouths open.

And if other parks in France have opted for the future, technology and mechanical attractions in Puy du Fou you can enjoy history with some very elaborate, entertaining, very visual recreations and with a lot of work in detail to recreate adventures of all ages. There are the Romans, the Vikings, the knights, the falconers and many more, with that eighteenth century in which fascinating characters like the Three Musketeers or Cyrano de Bergerac shine, a must in the history of France.

Important note: I have been invited to the Puy Du Fou Park by West France that promotes three regions of western France (Poitou-Charentes, Pays de la Loire and Brittany) in Spain.
