We hope to arrive on time for this interesting activity for babies and children up to three years, the children's creation workshop "Baby on board!" in the MUPAM of Malaga. Today we approach art with the little ones in this free workshop that will take place today and tomorrow to facilitate the first experience of the little ones in the Museum.
Today, Thursday and tomorrow, Friday from 12 noon to 1 pm, the children can approach the Municipal Heritage Museum of Malaga accompanied by their parents, where a work from their Permanent Collection will be used as the framework of the workshop. A good opportunity to bring art to the whole family.
Today Claudio the Grumete will show the little ones his fabulous treasure chest full of shapes, textures, colors and smells that will hint at the selected works of art and help them create their own collection of magical objects. the little ones will interact with the painting 'Una Moraga' (1880) by the painter Horacio Lengo. The objects contained in the chest will be associated with the painter's work and the history of the city.
Tomorrow the second session, which will require the help of parents, will be aimed at learning about the work of people who work in museums and the value of the institution as a memory container. Through the making of a museum box with objects and images of the little ones provided by their parents, the museological and museological principles will be worked "in a simple and visual way", supporting the reflection on the heritage object and its value enhancement.
I think the work of reinventing the museum space of the MUPAM is invaluable, making it a place of creative connection between parents, babies, children, educators and cultural professionals. The workshop has had the collaboration of the School of Maternal and Family Education La Caracola and the Patito Amarillo Childhood Education Center.
