You can see Tadeo in Telecinco explaining science to children

The other day we talked with my daughter about the Once Upon a Time series, the man that her parents saw on Spanish public television many years ago. Thanks to that series we learned many concepts, we traveled through history and although one of the incentives was to know what happened to the Tiñoso, we can say that we learned, in an audiovisual and entertaining way, some history of civilizations. And that wise teacher with long beards had great knowledge.

And that idea seems to be the one he has collected Tadeo Jones, one of the most recognizable characters by children in the last year in Spain, who along with Telecinco have just launched the program Discover with Tadeo. You can see three chapters of the series on the page of My Tele Kids of TelecincoThis is how at least its creator Enrique Gato has presented it to us, he has to be very proud of his character and the success he is achieving.

Among the challenges and adventures that Tadeo Jones will live is The Sierra de Atapuerca. And in this area of Burgos have been the oldest human fossils in Europe and also the largest accumulation of skeletons ever seen. In the Bone Gap alone, more than 5,000 human fossils of both sexes and different ages have been found. And not only those adventures, they will also be able to know the universe from the most powerful optical telescope in the world, follow dinosaur footprints through the peninsula or sail on a boat heading to the Spanish Antarctic base.

The series has started on July 27 (2013) and is called Discover with Tadeo. It is a series of scientific dissemination of animation and real image, which Mediaset Spain has begun to promote in its channels, has been created by Mediaset Spain and Lightbox Entertainment in collaboration with El Señor Studio and with the advice of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT).

The adventures of Tadeo are concentrated in two-minute daily chapters which can be seen in Telecinco, Cuatro, Factoría de Ficción and Boing and will contribute to disseminate the quality and variety of Spanish scientific research. The goal is to encourage the desire to learn and curiosity among the little ones.

In the series, music plays a leading role and the main tuning is created by Xuso Jones with the theme Nothing is impossible which has been created specifically for this project.

We remember that FECYT It is a public foundation under the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness that has among its main areas of work the dissemination of science, especially Spanish scientists and research centers. And it is that through these pills the kids can look at unique places, from archaeological sites to research centers and from the universe to the deep sea, where leading and exciting research is developed in different areas of knowledge.

We hope that the series will be very successful among the kids and that Telecinco will be very popular, although it may be launched in summer with all the children on vacation and spending time away from home and away from television may not have been the best option. Even so, my daughter tells me that she has seen her and that she has loved it, that she liked the rhythm, the music, the concepts and that she is very funny. So we hope that in the fall and with the arrival of the school Discover with Tadeo a reference series for kids and so that teachers can use it to complement their teaching at school.
