Our experiences

With permission from the dictionary, and as it sounds better than "blog writer," I will refer to this task of writing in blogs as bloggers and those of us who do as bloggers and bloggers. When anyone decides to write in this cyber world, they will have to organize according to their needs, but when does a blogger mom write?

Today we release our new edition of Parent Stories with a moving story. It is the story of Angel, father of two highly anticipated children, Nicolás and Ariadna, who have come into his life to teach him the world through his eyes and from which he learns things every day. We encourage parents who want to share their story with us as Angel has done, to send your story (between 5 and 8 paragraphs) to stories of parents @ babies and children.

Those who follow the blog for a long time will remember our section Stories of parents, real experiences of parents published in the pages of Babies and more. Given the proximity of Father's Day, we have decided to invite parents to share their experiences about being parents with the rest of the readers.

Hello, I am Emma, ​​I have already turned six months old, and at this moment of my short existence I wanted to comment on how I have been doing lately. And what could a six month old baby tell? So many, so many things, I don't know where to start. But I will try to summarize. There have really been many changes since I was born, but the most important thing this month is that I have started eating new things.

I suspect there is a supernatural power in the strollers of the fair. Manufacturers have the formula for children to pass by strollers and be stunned, attracted as by a magnet and stretching the arm of the father who does not want to fall into the nets of the fair. Stop will fall. We fall. Will it be the colored lights, will it be the blinding flashes, will it be deafening music?

It is a phrase that we are very accustomed to hearing parents when they ask us about our children. "And how is it good?" As you know, I just became a mother for the third time and the question is the obligatory one every time I meet someone I know, and also unknown. “Congratulations on your baby, is it good?

I don't know if it happens to me alone. I can't stand this Lunnis song. The characters are not particularly nice to me, but I would not say that I have a mania. In fact, there are other Lunnis songs that I do listen with pleasure to my oldest daughter. But the song of "Good Morning" of the Lunnis can with my patience and my general pleasure for children's songs.

Five minutes before the end of the last day of September, that is, 30 at 11.55 p.m., Sofia, my third daughter, was born, whom I present in the photo above. The delivery was great. Perhaps thanks to the experience, since being the third party it has been a more conscious birth, but also in large part that I enjoyed it fully from the first minute.

Yesterday I experienced an unexpected situation, unheard of and that left me quite perplexed until I understood. I imagine that, those who have babies, you will have found in the case that unknown people come to see the newborn, to tell him a compliment, to ask how much time he has or what his name is and sometimes because they even congratulate you.

Some time ago I introduced you to my first daughter, Mar, and today I bring you the little girl from the house, who was born on July 28 and who, like her little sister, was waiting ... Her name is Emma, ​​she weighed four kilos and she measured 52 centimeters, and came to the world quickly, through a vaginal delivery. When we had 12 days "past accounts" and were going to induce labor, a few hours before I began to feel contractions.

This is a dilemma faced by parents when it is time to join work after maternity leave. Who will take care of the baby? Do we opt for kangaroo grandparents? Starting from the base of the insufficient Spanish maternity leave and the terrible difficulties that women face when they decide to extend the time they spend with their babies asking for a leave or a reduction of the day, with no one would the baby be better than with her mom.

Casa Tiavea is a wonderful place where I usually go to rest every year, stroll through the countryside and enjoy games and discoveries with my son. The last time we went we climbed a mountain so high that it reached the sky, we splashed in the river, we got lost in a forest where fairies still live, we built a log cabin and fed two lovely cows.

This week I have continued to enjoy reading the Dads and Moms Blogs that I like the most and, as always, I have found very interesting topics. In Familia Libre, one of my favorite pages, two topics are addressed: if it is appropriate to have a pet on a floor even if the child wants it and how to take advantage of summer vacations to decide whether home schooling would suit our family.

As every week we offer you a review of blogs of parents who have interested us. To begin, in the blog of a Cantabrian mother, Maria, called El Mundo de Ariadna, they shared with us a very interesting text, the work of psychotherapist Laura Gutman, who talks about the role of the father in parenting.

Continuing with the series that we inaugurated recently, in which we intend to review the blogs of dads and moms who fill the internet with experiences and knowledge about the wonderful fact of becoming parents today I bring you one of the most exciting and passionate: "Guess how much I love you".

Today we release a new section in our blog that we hope you like. It is a weekly review of the blogs of moms and dads that we find on the internet, which by the way, more and more. The goal is to create an interaction between Babies and more and parents who share their personal experiences through their own blogs.

My son has done a project on climate change at school and, among other activities, had to make an erupting volcano. The craft is quite simple and we have shared it with our younger friends, who have had a wonderful time with her. The necessary materials are: clay or plasticine, baking soda, coloring, liquid soap and a quarter cup of vinegar.

When we and our children decide that we are prepared to add an animal to our family, we find several possibilities, but without a doubt, adopting an abandoned animal is one to take into account. But how to adopt a homeless animal? There are many associations that give them shelter while they find a family that adopts them, but sometimes we find it difficult to not know where to look for exactly that animal that suits exactly what we can best serve.

The dream, that if they could not understand that where my son slept was a private matter, as personal as if they slept or not with their partner. At first I justified myself, claiming the studies and books that defend that the dream is an evolutionary process and that the colecho is a practice that humanity has always carried out until a little less than 100 years ago in Western society.

My experiences with pediatricians little friends of school and breastfeeding were not pleasant. Pediatricians often ask questions of all kinds in the office, all of them destined, no doubt, to detect possible problems in the baby. However, sometimes they exceed the limit of personal intimacy and interfere in certain issues that I don't think have anything to do with their work plot.
