We had already anticipated in Peques and More that the autumn programming in Clan brought very interesting news. One of them is Clan kitchen, a program of kitchen for children that will teach us the whole family healthy food, healthy food and basic habits. In the program, healthy and nutritious dishes will be prepared and the little ones will discover where the food comes from, with visits to the garden, the farm, the fish market or the market. The program is presented by the Chef Enrique Sánchez, which will be accompanied by a small chefs group, As seen in the image.

The program will air on Sundays at 1:00 p.m., starting Sunday, October 5, in Clan. In the first program, children will learn how olive oil is made and prepare their first two recipes. In the presentation of the program to the media Yago Fandiño, director of Children's Content of RTVE, explained that with projects such as this “we seek to treat food as an element of cultural value, as a differentiating element of Spanish society, something that defines us a lot, and also, in the case of children, as a basic educational element, which also connects with an issue that concerns us, that of childhood obesity. We want children to enter the kitchen almost like in a game environment, although not treating food as a toy. ”

In Clan kitchen will be every week on Chef Enrique Sánchez with their little pinches, with a very important mission: to teach children and their parents to prepare dishes that are nutritious and rich. Enrique Sánchez is from Seville and has extensive experience in the kitchen. He has worked in the kitchens of large restaurants in Spain, Italy and the United States.

Enrique explained that “cooking with children is wonderful, because you enjoy their spontaneity and innocence towards the ingredients. In Clan kitchen We do not stay in the recipe, we look for the origin, origin and history of food. Thus they lose fear of the ingredients, while eating healthy and having fun. It is not a program for children to see at home without further ado, but for the whole family to get involved in it, to see it with parents and they also learn to eat. ”

In Clan kitchen, every day they will prepare on the set two recipes, one candy and another salty. And before starting to cook they will ask themselves what ingredients the dish has, and if they all know them. To find out where the food they are going to use comes from, the little ones will make excursions outside the set accompanied by Enrique and visit the market, the garden, the farm and the fish market, from where they will make reports for each program.

On the set, dressed in their aprons and colorful caps, they will have all the elements of the kitchen except the sharp elements and fires or heat sources, which will be in the hands of the chef.

Among the recipes that they will prepare there will be attractive dishes, of which their benefits for health and growth will be explained, with very nice and attractive names such as Suck sea chups with kikos or the Tortilla Quilt on Sleeping Rice Bear. And at the end of each program you will insist on how to prepare the dish and present it to make the meal even more appetizing and fun.

The doctor Pilar Senpau It will provide the appropriate criteria so that each recipe has a nutritional and energetic value for children. In each program, families will also be asked to share, with photos of their recipes, dishes that are colorful and healthy. The program will also be completed with mini spaces, which will be broadcast from Monday to Friday at noon, in which the presenter accompanied by some of the pinches will offer small cooking and health tips and ideas and the kids will talk about food.

With the new space the children will discover how entertaining it is to cook, how delicious are some dishes that they had not tried before and where the food comes from. All videos, recipes with rhymed explanations, cuts with curiosities about food and advice from Carmelo, one of the program's clicks, can also be seen on the RTVE page.
