Childbirth is one of the most incredible experiences in a woman's life. When you tell a mother to describe that moment, they usually run out of words trying to remember him for the accumulation of sensations and the meaning he has in his existence. Photographer Hernan Churba wanted to capture it in a photography project called "Love at first sight", and the result could not be more spectacular for everything it conveys ...
The artist was clear that he wanted to capture three particular moments: effort, surprise and happiness: Through them he intends to convey the sensations that a woman experiences when giving birth and seeing her son for the first time ... what pregnant woman has not thought about how that moment will be?
One of the things that struck me the most (apart from the images, obviously), was the reason that moved the photographer to carry out this series:
"While there is a lot of material from pictures of births, most of the projects are focused on the baby, or the family. But not on the mother's expression at that incredible moment," Churba told El Clarin newspaper.
I have been very moved and since I saw them I have not stopped thinking about the wonderfulness of that moment ... Would you have liked to have pictures of that moment when you saw your baby for the first time?
