After an abortion you are more likely to have a baby as soon as pregnancy is sought

It is curious how what nature has planned for humanity is not exactly the same as emotionally it seems to be beneficial. For example, puberty (and consequently the ability to have offspring), arrives much earlier than we would consider socially logical, and that is why we carry out what we know as "sex education", to prevent teenage pregnancies, the being parents at an age when he "doesn't play."

Another example is what we explain today, the time that comes after a loss, a spontaneous abortion. He says The OMS that the most advisable is wait at least six months for an emotional issue, but nature has stipulated quite the opposite, that they have those couples who start looking for a new pregnancy are more likely to have a baby.

At least that's what the scientific evidence says

In 2010, a study was carried out evaluating data from Scotland's hospitals between 1981 and 2000, and after evaluating 30,937 cases of women who had suffered a miscarriage, they saw that women who were getting a pregnancy before six months They were 33% less likely to suffer a new abortion and 31% less likely to have an ectopic pregnancy.

By cons, women who became pregnant with more than 24 months apart They were twice as likely to have an ectopic pregnancy and more than twice as likely to have a new abortion.

A more recent study, this year, analyzed the cases of 1,083 women between 18 and 40 who had suffered one or two early losses previously. The women were followed for six menstrual cycles until they got pregnant.

They saw that couples who had achieved an early pregnancy (before 3 months of loss) had more likely that your baby was born alive than those that passed from that date. The difference turned out to be a 53.2% chance of having a baby alive in the first group, compared to 36.1% in the other group.

But the data is very low!

But this, as we say at the beginning of the article, can clash frontally with the emotional state of the couple, and especially with that of the woman. Not everyone is prepared to look for a new pregnancy after a recent loss, because it means exposing oneself to risk again (with all the emotional burden that is supposed to happen again and the environment does not know how to react).

And the terrible thing is that in both cases the figures are very low. That is, in the second study, the most recent, of those who got a pregnancy in the first three months only 53.2% had a live baby. The remaining 46.8% had to face a new loss in a very short period of time.
