Mother and daughter recreate the tender photo of the first day of preschool 13 years later, at their high school graduation

Our children's first day of school is one of those we never forget. For some it may be the first day of daycare, for others the first day they go to preschool. Regardless of how old our children are, it is the first day that we separate from them to begin their education away from home.

For many this day is very emotional and we choose to capture it forever in a photograph that always keeps that unique moment alive. But there is another equally important day for parents and children: the day they graduate from high school.

A young woman and her mother, they decided to recreate just the day of their graduation the photograph they had taken on the first day of school when I was a child, making the publication of the photos side by side viral.

Gabrielle is an 18-year-old girl who recently graduated from high school and will start college in August. A few days ago he shared on his Twitter account two very important photos in which he appears with his mother Lizzette: your first day of school and your graduation day.

In both images we can see her mother hugging Gabrielle full of pride and above all, of love. In an interview with Buzzfeed Gabrielle commented that she and her mother have always had a very close relationship. The day of his graduation was even more special because her mother fought breast cancer last year and managed to see her graduate a few days ago.

Gabrielle's publication shows such a special moment in the lives of many people, that thousands have felt identified with their photographs. The publication has more than 70,000 retweets and 276,000 likes.
