The first clothes that our children wear when they are babies usually take a sigh of love and tenderness. Seeing those tiny bodys and those tiny socks is inevitable that a smile escapes us.
Some fathers and mothers do not know what to do with the baby clothes that their children leave as they grow, so we share some ideas, whether you decide to keep it or say goodbye to it.
When it's hard to say goodbye
I do not know if the same thing happens to all mothers or fathers, but since my daughter was born until today, who is a few months old to turn four years old, I have kept each and every one of the clothes and shoes she has used.
My main excuse is that I don't have time to sit down and order everything and take out what I no longer want, but in reality, when I had the opportunity to do so, I win nostalgia and emotional courage, I end up returning everything to its place in the box.
Therefore, if it happens to you like me, or simply if you do not know what to do with that baby clothes that your children no longer wear, I share you some options to say goodbye or keep it to do something special.
Give it to babies of family or friends
Sometimes it is common for us to have family or friends who become parents shortly after we had a baby. A good way to convey that special affection that was deposited in each garment, is giving it away so that the babies of family and friends can use it.
Donate it
This is an option that, in addition to extending the life of our baby's clothes, it's an action that could really help someone who needs it. You can search your city for associations, orphanages or low-income families, who can serve clothes for your baby.
Sell it
If you have clothes that were only used once or twice, are as new or maybe even have some that your baby did not even use and still have the purchase tag on, you can choose to sell it at a slightly lower price and so recover some of that great expense and investment we have when we become parents.
Keep some as a souvenir
Perhaps, despite donating, gifting or selling most of your baby's clothes, would you like to keep some special clothes, as a souvenir of those days when they were once tiny. These are some ideas you can do to preserve it.

Souvenir kit to give your children
A few days ago we shared the great idea of a mother, who created "souvenir kits" for her children, in which she had placed her favorite clothes and shoes from the baby age, accompanied by a special note. No doubt a nice detail that you can give your children when they are older.

Frame the clothes of the first setting
Another very nice and popular option is that of frame your baby's first-time clothes in a special box, accompanied by your basic data, such as your name, date of birth and birth weight.
Give them another use
Another way to keep some of our children's clothes, not only as a nice memory, but as a practical thing, is to transform baby clothes into some decorative or useful object.

A great and practical initiative that we shared a long time ago, is to create memories that can also decorate the baby's room, such as the works of art created by a mother with pieces of baby's clothes.
Todays been a memory blanket and cushion day Ive still got some slots left for the year so dont forget to book yours in.
A simpler idea to do and for which we can take advantage of a greater amount of baby clothes, is to make a quilt with bodysuits and little shirts that they no longer use. So, In addition to keeping those designs and colors so cute, we can give our children a blanket that will serve them for cold days.

Another tender idea to reuse the baby's clothes is the manufacture of teddy bears, using pieces of the clothes he used. Definitely that bear will love it and will accompany for several years.

Finally, one more option to reuse baby clothes is creating cushions or pillows with bodys that no longer fit. You can use it inside your room, as a decorative element and a soft pillow on which you can rest.
