How cute are the newborn photography sessions! In Babies and more we love them and there was one in particular that stole our hearts last year: the photo shoot of babies dressed as Disney princesses.
To our surprise and delight, the same photographer who did it has done it again, and now she presents us back to those beautiful little princesses, a year later.
Last year, photographer Karen Marie of Belly Beautiful Portraits captivated us by portraying her lens to six beautiful babies characterized as Disney princesses: Ariel, Aurora, Bella, Snow White, Cinderella and Jasmine. And it was not the only occasion, because also a few months ago we shared the tender session that made a couple of newborns dressed as Minnie and Mickey Mouse.
The images of the little princesses quickly went viral, not only for having a theme as popular as these princesses, but for the full beauty of the session: the models, the costumes and the scenery. Truly it was a magical photo shoot.
Now, a year later and with all the models having turned her first year old, the photographer reunited them and dressed them like Disney princesses. We had the opportunity to speak with Karen Marie, who kindly sent us the original photographs to share in Babies and more, and so our followers could see how the little princesses have grown now that they are one year old.
Like the photo shoot he did last year, the beautiful princesses have stolen our hearts and spread the magic and illusion that is reflected in the photographs. We can see how each of them is not only characterized as the famous princesses, but also each of them has a background and accessories that are consistent with the history of the princesses.
The naughty returns Ariel, with his fork in hand and his inseparable friend Flounder, as well as dawn, who appears sitting on his bed and with a tiny wheel at his feet.
We have seen return to Beautiful in her classic yellow dress, accompanied by her cup, a teapot and a tiny "Beast." Similarly, we see a smiling and enthusiastic Snow White next to his squirrels and apples.
And finally, we can see Cinderella, who appears giving a tender kiss to one of his mice friends and surrounded by crystals and blue flowers, while Jasmine Hold the lamp while taking a walk on the magic carpet.
Like last year, the costumes were made by Sew Trendy Accesories, the baby and pregnant clothing business that Karen Marie usually uses to create the clothing that her models will wear in their photo sessions.
While all the princesses come back to infect us once again with their tenderness, this year she decided to give the session a fun touch, so taking advantage that all the babies had just turned one year old, he decided to do a group cake smash session.
In an interview for Babble, Karen Marie comments that at the end of the photo shoot last year everyone ended up exhausted, but they already knew they would do it again when the babies turned one year old, hoping it would be easier.
And although it was easy re-portray the little Disney princesses because it was easier to make them smile this time, compared to trying to sleep at the same time for last year, it was a bit chaotic because they were all walking and moving where they wanted.
It is definitely another photo session that we loved and we hope that Karen Marie continues to share the beautiful images she manages to capture with her lens.
