Leisure centers, an alternative to daycare

The toy libraries or what we commonly call children's leisure centers are booming.

In the absence of school places in many cities, parents choose to take their children to these sites that, although they do not fulfill an educational program, the little ones entertain, paint, dance, play and have a good time.

I myself have considered doing this year with my two-year-old girl. More than an educational method, at his age what interested me was to leave home, interact with other children and play a couple of hours a day in a nice place.

I have visited some centers that are very well thought out, where they are even fed to the little ones, they have a tutor that takes care of them, entertains them and I have been able to see that some children attend every day at the same time.

As an advantage, there is also the flexibility of schedules that a service like this gives you. It allows you to take your child the hours you want when you prefer. Or you can take it certain days a month, or one day yes and one day no.

The price is another advantage, because you pay for hours (between 3 and 6 euros), but if you already know that it will go certain hours a month, they make you a more convenient overall price than the nursery. But of course, you are not paying for education and it is only a few hours.

The only thing that made me reject the idea of taking her to a leisure center as an option to the nursery was that I was not going to have twenty companions, always the same, who were there every day with whom she could establish a relationship, which in Definitive is what interests me most.

The point is that leisure centers have become a very valid alternative to daycare, or at least while parents wait for a hole in one.
