Mother's Day: Motherhood is hard. Admit it

It is not a phrase of mine, it is the slogan of the Web True Mom Confessions, the first online confessional for moms who don't want to be judged or labeled "bad mothers."

When reading anonymous confessions you can feel identified with some fact or thought. It may be that with some you feel horrified and others laugh out loud; but one thing is certain: moms are flesh and blood.

I have read some confessions like:

“I hate mom groups. I thought it was a good way to meet mothers with babies, instead it has been a boring place where they compete to be the best mother or to see who has bought the most expensive baby clothes. This has made me feel even more isolated ”

"It's barely nine in the morning and my house is already a mess."

“I am married five years ago. In that time my husband and I have had sex at most 20 times. We have two kids". "I love my baby when he is sleeping."

“Last night my son threw the food all over the carpet. I left her there for the dog to eat. ”

"I never clean my house unless someone comes to visit me."

And if we are talking about confessions, I must confess that I have been reading the Web for a long time instead of accommodating and storing a lot of washed clothes that are scattered on my bed.
