The week in Babies and more: from November 5 to 11

Like every start of the week, today we give you a summary of what was published in babies and more the week that just ended.

I begin with the anecdotes of my companion Elda, in relation to the time when her little ones get up, to have small human alarm clocks at home.

Christmas is coming and we must start thinking about children's gifts. Last week we met a great little wooden horse for the little ones. My partner Dolores told us about Munny, a blank doll to personalize and Velsid told us about a multimedia game Learn with Abby: Human body.

And speaking of toys, mass withdrawals continue, this time they announce that they withdraw from the market two toys that could block the digestive system. We also learned about the launch another year, the solidarity campaign "A toy, an illusion."

For those looking for ideas to decorate the children's room we met some striking carpets and original radiators for the children's room.

As regards breastfeeding, we refer you to an interesting interview with an expert, The whole truth about breastfeeding. We learned from the news breast milk and baby intelligence, new data. And Dolores told us about the nipple most similar to mom's tit.

Regarding the health of children, we talk about the use of childhood aspirin, only by prescription, that taking blood pressure should become routine in the pediatric consultation, of how the environment influences the health of children , that obese children have a lower life expectancy, and we met a new study that concludes that lack of sleep can make children fat.

Last week we also met a new study that says television violence can multiply by three the aggressiveness of our children. Elda gave us some advice on what to do when a child hits his head. We learned from a new study that talks about how the placenta acts as a parasite to safeguard the baby, that although it seems incredible the statistics show that most smokers do not leave tobacco during pregnancy. And Dolores told us about the newborn, in the room or in the nest?

Finally, do not forget to see the tender images of babies and children and the great invention made by a 9 year old boy.

So far the weekly summary and of course much more this week that begins, in which among many other things our partner Dolores will be telling us the news of the Babies & Mums Fair in Madrid.
