Diaper vending machines begin to be seen in public toilets

As the mother of two babies (well, a baby and a girl who has previously been a baby), last year I called from the blog to ask for more diaper vending machines in public toilets.

Well, apparently someone has heard me because miraculously I begin to see them in some public toilets, at least I have seen them in two in the last month.

The photo you see I took last week at the Las Rozas Village shopping center in Madrid. The machine dispenses us for 1.50 euros a kit for children's hygiene consisting of 1 super absorbent diaper, 2 wipes to clean the baby and a scented bag to place inside the used diaper.

The 2 wipes is very good, since with one we would have to juggle to clean the baby when "the second" is done. And the scented bag is also a detail; also, under the machine there is an anti-odor basket to throw away the baby's dirty diapers.

The price seems to me to be fine, fair, because it makes no sense that it is too expensive service.

You don't know how much I was glad to see the machine installed there. While public toilets still leave much to be desired to meet the needs of babies, who are as customers as anyone, this means a good breakthrough.

In most of the bathrooms we didn't find a changing table and not even an allowance where we could lay them down to change them, so seeing a diaper vending machine in an exclusive bathroom with baby changing table was a luxury.

I hope that fashion is spread to more public places. It would be interesting to know where there is more, have you seen this type of machines in public toilets?
