2009 El Chupete Festival: cinema and children's television as protagonists

The next July 2 and 3 will take place in Valencia the V edition of the El Chupete Festival, which we have realized on other occasions, since it is an important event dedicated to advertising and communication aimed at children.

If last year the central theme was the game and children's leisure, in this 2009 edition will be children's and youth cinema and television. In its fifth edition, it will reward the best children's advertisements in ten categories, and guests will be present as relevant as the producers of “Planet 51”, the most expensive film in Spanish cinema, or the creators of Pocoyo or Sesame Street.

We can already enjoy the original posters that announce the Festival, which, as we can see, pays tribute to the world of cinema by showing a popcorn box full of pacifiers and the famous profile of Alfred Hitchcock with a pacifier.

The analysis of the proliferation of the children's audiovisual market, such as the birth of thematic channels focused on children's age groups, film blockbusters for children ... Without a doubt, a market that is rising with a frequent but powerful audience.

The Festival is held in the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia, and the registration period is now open, although the program has not yet been announced. We'll be alert.
