Test to know the sex of the baby at 10 weeks

IntelliGender is a new test developed to know the sex of the baby from the 10th week of gestation, that is, before you can know through an ultrasound.

“Boy or Girl Gender Prediction Test,” which is what it is called, has been created in the United States. They have conducted scientific experiments in which they isolated certain hormones that when combined with certain chemicals reacted differently when the woman was pregnant with a girl than with a boy.

The experiments gave as a product a test to perform at home that through the mother's urine gives the result in 10 minutes. Depending on the color of the test, red if it's a girl or green if it's a boy, we can know the sex of the future baby.

The percentage of reliability is not to decide what color to paint the room, buy clothes or look for a name, things we do when we have a 100% confirmation. In this case it is 82%, that is, it is more a test to do for fun since the result may not be the final one.

In any case, no matter how anxious it is for us to know the sex of the baby at an early stage of pregnancy, the only accurate way to know is by ultrasound around week 20 when the genitals are more accurately differentiated (except error, which it is rare but there are), an amniocentesis or a blood test of the mother that allows the baby's DNA to be isolated.

If you are interested in doing it out of curiosity, the IntelliGender test can be purchased online for $ 34.95 (25 euros in exchange) plus international shipping costs.
