When a child is on the way, any preparations will seem little to you. Clothes, lots of clothes
Do an exercise: go to the baby's closet and count the number of "sets" you have. I did it once and I got to count more than 60 between dresses and other combinations. And that only for the summer. I could almost not put a washing machine in two months! Obviously, things left to release, and that gives a lot of anger.
Since then we are very careful with the amount of clothes we buy - and even so many times we go - because in the end it happens to you as with your own clothes, which you have a lot but you almost always wear it. Only yours doesn't get too small in a few weeks and you always have the comfort that "you'll wear it one day".

I always thought that spending a lot of money in a car for the baby is unnecessary, but when the time came, we did it. Everything to discover that our baby had "allergy" and preferred to go ported, and to round off the play, after six months, we decided to buy an ultra-folding and compact that does not occupy the entire trunk.
Obviously, this is not the case for everyone, but when the time comes, my recommendation is to invest less money or, if not, do it in a really compact and foldable model that can last more than six months (because you will want to recover your trunk, I assure you).
A sideboard with a changing table
I think we will have used it twice, because in the end it is more comfortable to change where you spend more time (in the living room, for example), and to bathe where the water and the drain is (that is, the bathroom) with a portable bathtub or a basin, have to fill and empty a mini-bath and I splashed the entire floor of your room. Because there is nothing that babies like more than splashing.

There are so many stuffed animals in my house that I could set up a stuffed animal zoo. And speaking of games: my daughter has so many toys in her park that she hardly fits.
