A body that warns if the baby has a fever

If the baby has a fever we usually notice it even without a thermometer, but every time new methods are invented to know the temperature of the baby. Now it is presented a body that warns if the baby has a fever changing color.

We already knew a pajama that warned of baby fever, and now we have this new garment for baby underwear that has been developed by a Valencian textile company in collaboration with the Textile Technological Institute (Aitex).

The body, which receives the bombastic name of "Thermochromic garment" for infants and babies, changes color when children reach a temperature of 38º.

The body is made of cotton and natural fiber and in the upper chest it has a pattern printed with thermochromic dyes, that is, they respond by changing color to temperature changes. The garnet-colored drawing becomes redder when the baby has a fever and regains its original color if the temperature drops.

On the manufacturer's website, Ramón Espí S.L., we find the following data about the body, which will not be for sale until next winter:

Our company will market the first 100% combed cotton thermochromic garments that we manufacture for infants and babies next winter. They will help alert parents to the child's feverish state through a chromic sensor in the neck area that changes color when he has a fever. If the temperature stabilizes, the pigment returns to its initial state.

What we also know is that the body that warns if the baby has a fever It will not cost more than 12 euros. A curious garment, I do not know if it is too useful (you have to be watching it, is it not easier to take the baby's temperature?), But, at least, pretty.
