After several entries talking about homeopathy and expressing all the arguments that I have been able to bring together and even after going to TV3 to talk about alternative therapies people keep writing to me, both through social networks and by mail to explain to me that it works for them and that I am wrong (sometimes I am even very wrong).
That is, after explaining everything explained and demonstrating that there is no logic where to take homeopathy, there are still people who close their eyes to the evidence shown, some scientific and others that remind us of the chemistry of the institute, and confirms that Anyway, it works.
Well, as in Catalonia, health is about to crumble (later the rest of Spain will come, but here it seems that we wanted to be pioneers), because there are already closed hospitals and EREs on the way in which they are still open, and given It seems that the future is the privatization of health and none have the insured position, I thought I could open my own consultation of something that dominated a bit: What if at the end of everything I became a homeopath?
In the TV3 program I went to a week ago I could hear a homeopath say that there are about 6,000 homeopaths entitled and working in the light and another 6,000 graduates (or not, because total, it does not matter), working “in black” (I would say he was referring to Spain).
Some of them will be health personnel and others will not, but today, As homeopathy is not regulated, anyone who wants to exercise. I am a nurse and could put "Homeopathic Nurse", who would distinguish me as someone who has more studies than many homeopaths with consultation, however, as people believe that homeopaths are doctors (not everyone thinks about it, but many yes), I would almost do better not putting anything.
My rates
I am a sensible person and in the same way that I do not like to be scammed I do not like to scam others. I thought I might have slightly lower rates than other homeopaths, although not much more, because they might think I know little.
On second thought, I think I will charge a little more than others and so people will think I know a lot. What I will do is, from time to time, give a visit: "Maria, I don't charge you today, I'm very happy with how your child's medication is working and for me that's the first thing ... come whenever you want." So I make sure they will come back and I also make sure the nougat at Christmas (you know, people for Christmas usually give little things to people who make them feel good).

Everyone will come up with something: granules, globules, ointment ... whatever it takes, but that is homeopathic, of course. People love to feel well treated and they like to feel that you care about them and their children, so it seems that I am interested in people's health. I do not usually use it in children because I like to be more cautious, but this will not do any harm and surely we get your body to respond "

The medicine we all know and homeopathy are incompatible. I repeat: they are incompatible.
Many homeopaths, to cover more radius of action, are joining the “complementary therapies” car, to tell people that they don't have to choose between one and the other when they can use both.
However, it is nonsense, because homeopathy treats diseases with the substances that cause the symptoms that one suffers and conventional medicine does, normally, using an opposite.
If a child has a fever, it is logical to give him a medication that lowers the fever. Homeopathy, on the other hand, offers as a solution a substance that increases body temperature, but diluted to infinity (and beyond).
It makes no sense for someone to give a child paracetamol to lower the fever and then give Belladonna, which causes it. Therefore I don't understand that there are homeopathic doctors or homeopathic pediatricians, unless they are doing the same reflection as me: you are with the people for a while, you attend them, you listen to them as nobody does (almost nobody wants to hear the problems of others, but tell their own), you make them feel important and Then you take out a paste by giving them sugar caramels and water.
So, as I am in the group of professionals who believe that what really cures is conventional medicine and how I would not forgive someone for something to happen to come to my office, I will do what some homeopaths do (Hahnemann traitors and his postulates, traitors of homeopathy), which is allow both medicines to coexist.
If a mother calls me and I see that the child is dodgyI will tell him to go to the pediatrician, but then come to see me to give him something that will raise his defenses and something to alleviate the side effects of the syrup that the pediatrician has given him. And if I come to the office and I see the same thing, that the thing is difficult and that the child's health is at risk (otitis, laryngitis, bronchitis, ...), I will do the same: “Look, this can be cured with homeopathy, but it will take a lot and the child will have a bad time ... you know that homeopathy is sometimes very slow. I recommend you take it to the pediatrician and I will give you something to complement that treatment and something to avoid side effects. ”
