Between August 1 and 7, the World Breastfeeding Week 2011. From Babies and more we encourage and support breastfeeding as the best food for the baby, so from our pages we join the celebration.
This year the motto is “Communicate! Breastfeeding: a 3D experience ”with the intention of highlighting the importance of communication between the various sectors as part of the promotion and one of the fundamental support pillars in the promotion of breastfeeding.
Both personal and media level is essential fluid and effective communication to create cooperative relationships.
As for "3D experience" we want to show that in addition to the two dimensions of time (from before birth to weaning) and place (home, health center, hospital, etc.), a third dimension is necessary that complements them: the communication.
The World Week marks the Innocenti Declaration, formulated by senior WHO and UNICEF officials in August 1990 in order to protect, promote and support breastfeeding. In Spain, Breastfeeding Week will also be held from October 2 to 8, 2011.
