A study by The App Date on mobile applications and their use by families

A few weeks ago the infographic was published that can be seen below and that shows, in a very graphic and simple way, what is the penetration of smartphones, or smartphones in Spain. Apparently consumer uses are changing and the use of tablets and phones is growing. And in the second report about the applications and that has coordinated The App Date, there are 35 million devices in Spain.

And although 15 years ago the mobile phone was a very rare tool, today we use it in our daily lives almost permanently. What the study shows, among other figures, is that five million Spaniards use applications and 15 million are in a position to do so. In addition, Spanish developments are of value because the five most popular Spanish applications add up to 35 million downloads worldwide. And the number of downloads in Spain is almost 1.5 million applications daily for all devices (this figure seems spectacular).

And the trend is not going to stop because more and more smartphones and fewer mobile phones that do not allow downloading are sold Applications.

In the infographic, as we had highlighted, the majority profile is male, between 25 and 40 years old, lives in urban environments and uses some of the applications on a daily basis. I think, and I say it from my own experience, that Many of the applications we download, most of them free and some paid, are for our children to those who see how they share with us their adventures, their progress, their experiences with applications and with devices. Better how much more tactile.

At the end of the infographic are shown some of the most downloaded applications, by operating system. Some of them have been tested at home, others were completely unaware of the application. In all of them there are common features: sports information, leisure / games, health, photography and healthy life.
