A history of friendship with special ingredients: love for animals or the feeling of protection to those who love

Who is captain? Well, the Bernal family dog, and what is unique about it? without a doubt, his ability to convey to us what his relationship with each of the members of this family is like, as well as his feelings with the future of some events that were destined to change his life, and finally improve it.

'Captain tells everything' It is a story about friendship and love for animals, written by Ann Cameron and illustrated by the young illustrator Adolfo Serra. This volume has just been edited by Pearson and the title of the original is 'Spunky Tells All'.

And now tell me ... those of you who have pets, can you imagine for a moment what would happen if 'they' were telling around the ins and outs of family life and the secrets we would never get out? Of course, the main thread of the book is most curious.

Ann Cameron tells us that she was born in a small town in Wisconsin (United States) in 1943, and she did it in the middle of a snowstorm. He grew up in the company of his dog and discovered at a young age the world of books. Adolfo Serra was born in 1980, and after having studied Advertising and Public Relations, he looked back at his hobby as a child: illustration.

Occurring texts and endearing illustrations lead us to meet the Bernal family: four humans and a dog ... although someone else may arrive. Captain states that Its main problem is the lack of understanding: he understands humans, but their owners do not know the dog language, so some misunderstandings occur with some frequency.

On the other hand, the dog does not understand how his boy (Hugo, the youngest of the two brothers) is not passionate as he does for the world of smells, and instead spends hours doing homework.

After a misunderstanding that humans interpret as great mischief on the part of the dog, Rafa, Michelle, Julian and Hugo decide to bring home a companion for Captain. The dog does not know if this will be a good idea, except that he may again have the privilege of eating his favorite chips.

Finally the chosen one is Fiona, but If it's a cat! A cat that, according to the faithful dog, 'smells like a fool', and behaves wildly: she goes up curtains, falls into the W.C. However Captain lives with resignation the fact that now she also accompanies them on their walks, and that he sleeps like him inside the 'blanket cave' of Hugo.

Despite the strange customs of Fiona that fantasizes about keeping wolves and panthers away! leaving dog food soaked in water on the ground ... Captain ends up taking love, and saves his life, because friendship is above the differences.

A very funny story and also tremendously beautiful. A story full of emotions, disappointments, encounters and many smells. You will like.

And we have been able to tell you because the Pearson publishing house has given us a copy.
