On Friday, August 17, with the purpose of make Penguin Madrid known to the little ones, Faunia will hold a children's workshop at the Nuevos Ministerios metro station where children between the ages of 3 and 13 can color their own penguin.
The Menudos Corazones association participates, along with 19 other organizations in Penguin Madrid, a solidarity project led by Faunia that aims to bring society closer to 20 solidarity causes related to children and disabilities. The sculpture of Menudos Corazones sports a beautiful floral design by Carolina Herrera, and is sponsored by the Cabinet of Travel.
This penguin aims to raise funds to the Music Therapy project for children hospitalized in the ICU of the Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid, to improve the quality of life of children with heart disease during hospitalization periods.
Menudos Corazones is a non-profit organization, composed of family and friends of children and young people with heart disease, both congenital and acquired. Its mission is to promote and carry out necessary actions to improve the quality of life of people suffering from congenital heart disease and their families.
All causes are represented in sculptures of giant penguins of 2.15 meters high, decorated by Spanish creators and designers and sponsored by famous people who are now exhibited at the Nuevos Ministerios metro station, after having been located in symbolic points of Madrid.
In addition to decorating the streets during the summer, this campaign aims to raise funds for the different participating entities.
