Another airline is committed to the "child free" zone

Children are not welcome in some hotels and restaurants, and it seems that what bothers you during a flight translates into child-free airplanes. Last year we told you that Malasya Airlines prohibited babies from traveling in first class, and now a new airline joins the “child free” zone.

The low-cost airline AirAsia will establish on its long-haul flights, floated by its subsidiary AirAsia X, the ban on children under 12 years of sitting in the front rows to create a "quiet area."

As of February 2013, these seats will be limited to people over 12 years old and they will not have any additional cost for the passenger to the one already established (except the usual one when choosing any seat), according to the company.

To make the flight more pleasant, the area will also be illuminated dimly and adult passengers will be asked to be silent. I do not know what they will do if they are "strained" in that quiet area some party group or those who speak loudly between rows ...

Since babies who cry are considered by many to be the greatest "danger" on an airplane, I would not be surprised if this measure was extended to other airlines. For now, I'm staying with companies that make traveling with children easier or cheaper, since we can choose, don't you think?

Quiet areas on AirAsia planes, free of children, are the seven first rows of seats. However, there may be some exceptions about the entry of children to this area of the plane if it is "necessary for security reasons", which raises many questions. Let's see if in the future we will attend the entrance of the plane to “you yes, you don't”…
