In South Korea there is the largest museum of teddy bears

If I had to travel to South Korea I would not miss the opportunity to visit one of its two teddy bear museums, one in Seoul (the capital), and another on Jeju Island (a place south of the peninsula) attractive for its volcanic origin and for having a culture and way of life different from the rest of the country.

The Jeju museum contains an abundant sample (the largest in the world) very representative of teddy bears manufactured during the last 100 years that can delight children (and many older). Although keeping a collection of these objects might seem inappropriate, you know, can you imagine how much dust and accumulated mites ?, the reality is that These toys are protected by display cabinets, which helps their good conservation. The stuffed animals are not (nor have they been) among my favorite toys, but the initiative is so curious that it is worth highlighting.

In the N Tower of Seoul, the museum represents the past, present and future of the city, since both in the 'History room' and in the 'special room', the stuffed animals are dressed so that by observing them we can get an idea of the most important historical events. And, in any case, climbing the Tower is an unforgettable experience, since you can see the city in panoramic.

And arriving in Jeju (for which we will have had to travel many kilometers and caught a flight), we find a museum in which 'teddy bears' from several countries are represented. In this place there is an 'artistic room' (in addition to the Historical one) that houses curiosities produced by famous designers. So between the Mona Lisa as historical representation, modern bears, and cartoon shows, you can spend an unforgettable family day. As if that were not enough, this is the place where we will go if we want to admire the smallest teddy bear in the world (4.5 mm).

You know, in East Asia there is a place for teddy bear lovers, and neither is it necessary to travel just for that, because South Korea has many more incentives. Some of the visitors to this attraction have commented that the museums are beautiful but expensive, of course after having traveled so far, I guess there will still be a budget to enter, right?
