Make your own letter so that Santa Claus responds to your children (Christmas'12)

Many children have already sent their letters to Santa Claus (and if they have not sent it yet remember that you can use our letter for exclusive Santa Claus) and many children stay every year with the doubt if it is Santa Claus who reads it, if it is an elf or elf or if this of writing a Letter is like writing the shopping list and then the bearded man dressed in red leaves your gifts and you're done.

In my house, when we were little, my sister started a tradition that I then continued in which, every Christmas, Santa Claus and then the Kings left, in addition to gifts, a signed letter with their names in which they told us things about gifts and about us and our families (we didn't write anything guilty or anything like that). The goal was for the little ones they felt their letters were important, that they appreciated the food and that they had something to tell them and a while for them even when they still had thousands of houses to visit.

For this reason I wanted to bring you again the possibility of doing yourselves at home A letter for Santa Claus to answer your children, with the text already prepared and everything (you will not complain), and with the bottom of the letter they sent (if they used the one of Babies and more), to give uniformity to the matter.

Make the letter with the computer

You can download the letter here. This is a file with extension "doc", which can be edited with Microsoft Word or with Openoffice, for example. The document consists of two pages. The first is the letter to be printed, with a text box ready to paste the final text. On the second page is the text that I have written with the indications so that you modify it to your liking.

As there are parents who want to even answer before Christmas Day arrives I have written it thinking about a letter that you can deliver now, any of these days. If you prefer to write the letter the day they receive the gifts you will only have to change the tenses so that "I hope you like it" is "I hope you liked it", for example. Then I leave the text for you to read:

Dear (name of the child):

I am Santa Claus and I am writing to you from Lapland, where it is very, very cold and where everything is covered with snow.

Recently I received your letter and I wanted to answer you because, although we have a lot of work, all children deserve to have their letters answered. I really liked that you explained to me that (write here some detail of the letter that was sent to Santa, if the child explained any anecdote).

This year there are some toys that I will not be able to bring because we are in a somewhat complicated time and there are not as many toys as before. Let's say I had to distribute them a little more so that no child runs out of toys. In your case, I will not be able to bring: (write the name of the toy you have not found. For example: the pilot dog).

If you ask me next year, I will do my best to get you there. If not, you can also talk to your parents so they can give it to you on your birthday. Talk to them, I'm sure you reach an agreement. With the other gifts you can rest easy, you will receive them without problems.

(I have introduced these two paragraphs because it is usual to not find a gift or to give away everything in the letter. If there are no problems with the gifts, you can delete the previous paragraphs).

There are few days left until the night of December 24. That night is very tired for me and my reindeer, because we have to reach all the homes of all the children in the world, so a little food is always welcome to gain strength.

I give you a hint in case you don't know what to leave us: I love it (Write here what we are willing to eat after a copious Christmas Eve dinner. For example: milk and lettuce, apple with ketchup, ...) and to my reindeer the aromatic herbs, but as I don't think you have, a glass of milk will also help them a lot. In addition, to go faster, we fly from chimney to chimney and from window to window, and flying tires more than walking.

By the way, I don't know if you know my reindeer, just in case I tell you their names: Rudolf (Rodolfo), Dasher (Brioso), Dancer (Dancer), Prancer (Acrobat), Comet (Comet), Cupid (Cupid), Donner (Thunder), Blitzen (Lightning) and Vixen (Playful) (Choose if you prefer the original name or the translation. This paragraph serves a bit of filler in case you have deleted the first three of the gifts. If you have not deleted them, you may have to delete this one to fit the text).

(Name of the child), I send you a hug.

Make the letter by hand

In case anyone wants write text by hand, to make it more real, I leave below the background used in the letter with lines for the text (if you want it without lines, in the document "doc" you just have to erase the text box and print the first page) . To print, as usual, you have to do click on the image and it will be enlarged leaving the ideal size for the paper.

By the way, throw imagination

I have not commented, but if you want the letter to be more real and credible you can add the phrases that you think are more convenient and remove the ones you don't like. Sometimes personalizing the letter a bit ("I want to return to your home, I hope this year does not trip over the red sofa that you have next to the window, which last year I almost fell") you will get them to be even more astonished. Well come on to the mess and to put imagination.

In a few days we will bring you the possibility of doing the same with the Three Kings of the Orient, that being three have no excuse for not writing letters.
