A song composed by Miquel Abras is part of the solidarity project that seeks to obtain benefits that will go to the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu from Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona).
It is called 'L'esperança és el regal' (hope is the gift) and is interpreted by various artists such as Doro Beltrán (Pastora), Amelie, Teràia de Shock, Elena Gadel, Helena Miquel, Jofre Baradagí and Sara Pi. Choirs are made up of hospital beneficiary children, volunteers and Hospital professionals. The song has been published on a DVD next to a video clip and is being sold from the beginning of the month for three euros.
The video of the song will be the Christmas greeting that the Hospital will send to all its friends this year
It is a song that speaks of health as well desired, of singing to life, and of the best gift that sick children can receive: hope. Hope and (of course) resources so that the health facilities they have can continue to provide quality assistance.
That's why solidarity makes so much sense, since the hospital needs the support of society to carry out projects of research, dissemination, cooperation, as well as non-assistance programs that do not receive public funding.
Among them are hospital clowns, musicians, volunteers, art workshops or assisted interventions with dogs, among others. These are activities that make the stay of children in the Hospital as pleasant as possible.
The production, distribution, recording and dissemination of song and promotional video have not represented any cost to the Hospital, since the artists have collaborated selflessly, as well as the producer Global Record Music, the recording studio 44.1, the producer of the video clip and other entities.
Such solidarity and collaborative projects can make the best wishes of health of sick children materialize.
