The celebration of a new year always means a lot to everyone, a new year, with illusions, good intentions, joy, hope ... Children live it as one more party and we can take advantage to make fun new year's crafts with them.
The new year is still a number, so we can use it for children to become familiar with the numbers by making beautiful crafts.
Here are some ideas that you can do with your children before the arrival of the new year:
New Year's collage
A handicraft for the end of the year to do with children, could be to make a fun collage by hooking whatever we find at home. You will need a card of the size you want (the bigger the better) and the color that your child likes, a marker to trace the numbers and elements to hook in the numbers (pens, pupurine, colored paper, magazine clippings, cottons ...). Colored eggs filled with confetti can decorate your end of the year party and also have your very entertaining for at least a couple of afternoons. Sit with them to paint the eggs (one way to break the eggs without breaking them too much is to put the least pointed part up and gently break the tip with a spoon, turning it over and emptying the egg).Then we paint them and let them dry in the egg cups. To make the confetti we can use recycled paper that we have at home and make holes with the hole punching machine or with scissors.
