The Disney movie "Saving Mr. Banks" that tells the story of the filming of Mary Poppins

Of all the movies I saw in childhood, one of the ones that have improved over time is Mary Poppins. An adventure story full of imagination in which the caretaker of the children invites you to live incredible stories in a very Victorian England with fascinating characters such as bankers or chimney sweeps, spectacular music and lots of great quality fun.

Apparently the movie had a previous story in which Pamela Lyndon Travers, the writer of Mary Poppins, did not want Walt Disney and her studio to be in charge of bringing her most famous character to the big screen. And on that, a new movie, called Saving Mr. Banks, which will be released in December 2013. The Disney has made and the poster can not be more attractive, Pamela Lyndon and Walt Disney with their shadows Mickey Mouse and Mary Poppins.

In Film Blog we have already anticipated a lot of information about the film, including a trailer, in original version to learn how Disney worked to make an immortal movie despite the disagreements with the original writer.

Tom Hanks will be Disney, in a role that I already like for being this great actor who plays it, and Emma Thompson as the writer Travers and that, from what is seen in the trailer, I think that it has more of the Victorian side than Mary Poppins, so that's why it already grinds a little, although obviously it will have to be seen.

I have no idea if it is a film for children although I imagine that older children can have a good time with the film. In any case, we will be attentive to learn more about the film and try to tell it here.

The director of the film is John Lee Hancock and Colin Farrell and Ruth Wilson also appear in the film, giving life to Travers 'parents and Paul Giamatti who will be Travers' chauffeur during his time in the United States.

It seems to me a great cast for a movie that is sure to have its interest, the trailer promises a lot, and that surely shows how to negotiate, how to pursue a dream and how cinema is one of the most important languages of the twentieth century.
