From what moment is it interesting to encourage reading among our children? I'll just tell you that, if you haven't started yet, it's time. They are never too small to be in contact with books, with stories. Therefore, the idea of a Baby Reading Club, which might seem absurd, makes sense.
The same goes for this "Bebecost" workshop, a reading program of the City Council of Oviedo for children between zero and three years old that aims to stimulate the different reading stages, from the first contacts with the book as an object to the conversion of literary language into a vital and creative instrument.
The benefits of encouraging early reading are manifold, although when we talk about babies, maybe instead of talking about "reading," we could talk about "books" or "stories." Promotion of books, contact with them, with stories, with magazines, with their pages full of drawings, colors and letters, on paper or on screen ...
And encourage stories, stories, fables, poems, babysitters ... that mom or dad tell him and sing to him, read or improvise him.
