The Fernando Alonso Collection It will remain open to the public at the Arte Canal Exhibition Center from December 3, 2013 to May 4, 2014. You can see more than 270 pieces between cars, go-karts, monkeys and other personal items that allow you to review the trajectory of the Formula 1 driver double world champion. The exhibition is organized by the Community of Madrid, Canal de Isabel II Gestión and the Fernando Alonso Foundation.
He price of the general admission to the sample will be of 7 euros and the reduced from 3.5 euros, for seniors and students. Access will be free for children under 6 years old, unemployed and disabled.
Fernando Alonso is one of the best drivers in the history of F1 and one of the greatest Spanish athletes. You can also see the two trophies he received for winning the number 1 in 2005 and 2006.
The challenge of the exhibition is to bring the visitor closer to Formula 1 so that he knows the characteristics of the cars, their engines, their components and the safety elements of the races. In the sample there is a large audiovisual tunnel that allows the visitor to have the sensations, listen to the sounds and feel the speed of a Formula 1 circuit.
The exhibition has been divided into several zones:
- km 0 where Alonso's origins in the motor world are shown
- The collection which reviews its passage through the promotion formulas
- Formula 1 in which you can see the passage of Fernando Alonso through the Minardi, Renault, McLaren and Ferrari teams
- Alo circuit which is a great interactive space with all your career data including videos and images
- Start your engines! which allows children to access an enveloping audiovisual tunnel that allows you to enjoy all the excitement of the Formula 1
- F1 Experiences which includes technical explanations about the different elements of the cars and circuits
- 275,000 km of emotion a video in which the pilot himself values his career, the exhibition and his experiences during his 29 year career.
- Road safety which includes lessons in good habits and aerodynamics lessons for schoolchildren
In the Exhibition can also be done complementary educational activities. For this, an area of the room has been dedicated to the teaching workshops so that the smallest visitors, between 3 and 12 years old, can know concepts of aerodynamics, design, road safety and healthy habits. These spaces are managed by specialized monitors.
Fernando Alonso Collection It will be open to the public from Monday to Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. In addition, on December 24 and 31 will open until 3:00 p.m. The exhibition will be closed on Christmas and New Year's days.
