Reach the Spanish screens "To meet Mr. Banks" (Saving Mr. Banks) Disney

This weekend the movie is released in cinemas throughout Spain To meet Mr. Banks (Saving Mr. Banks) of Disney that is inspired by the extraordinary and unknown story of what is the process of creating Mary Poppins. And it is that this Disney classic still holds its validity and although they project it on television frequently or it is on our shelves in remastered version it is a work to be enjoyed whenever we can for the good feelings it transmits.

The movie, which we are not going to miss and that we are going to see it on the big screen, is a masterpiece that explains with great precision the Transformation proccess from author P.L. Travers regarding the making of a film based on his work. And I think in that whole process the Walt Disney influence and above all its magic is the one that finally manages to shoot one of those films that every time you see it, it gives you joy, emotion and the desire to live.

In the movie Saving Mr. Banks the most fascinating characters are Richard and Robert Sherman, which are those who composed the soundtrack and who wrote the Oscar-winning song, the famous Chim Cher-ee. Recently we published that Robert died at age 86. Actors Jason Schwartzman (Richard) and B.J. Novak (Robert) is what gives composers life. The scenes in which they appear composing the songs and inspiring the choreography are the best of the film.

At the beginning of everything is that the daughters of Walt Disney, played by Tom Hanks, they asked him to make a movie from his favorite book, Mary Poppins from P.L. Travers and his father promised them he would. It took 20 years to fulfill the promise. And is that Miss Travers is sarcastic and inflexible although it fills the screen from the first scene thanks to a great interpretation of Emma Thompson. Its transformation process is sporadically illustrated with images of an early 20th century Australia in which you can see the relationship between a father, interpreted by Colin Farrell, and his family, especially with his daughter.

The film tells how, although Walt Disney was very clear about how he wanted to adapt the book, he does need incorporate P.L. Travers in the project to get to understand what goes through the author's head. And that is the true value of the film and the one that is fascinating to know to approach Mary Poppins with a more human and real perspective that contributes to make it even more fascinating and extraordinary.

I recommend watching this wonderful movie, in original or dubbed version, and getting excited as the transformation process progresses thanks to the magic of Disney.
