Craft with cardboard rolls and scrapbook paper: beautiful decorated boxes

The Centsible Life is a site founded by the mother of four Kelly Whalen, which serves as exchange between mothers who want to find solutions Simple and economical.

Among the topics discussed are budget management, ideas for cheap crafts, tips for spending family leisure time spending less, etc.

And what I bring you today are these boxes lined with scrapbook paper, which have caught my attention because they look a lot like some that my daughter was making recently at a fair.

As you can see, they are the simplest, and that's why I think they can be a good idea to distribute as a gift (maybe with candies inside) after a birthday party; or to take it to the grandmothers when you go to see them.

You only need cardboard rolls of toilet paper, scrapbook paper (in craft stores or stationery stores), white glue, scissors and stationery ties or colored radius.

It is made by covering the cardboard roll with a thin layer of white glue, and rolling decorated paper (If you do several each one can be a different color). If it is left over by the ends you cut it.

Then at each end you will do two overlapping folds, which can then be opened and closed easily.

We can only garnish with bow or raffia to get a better effect. It is not the first time that we presented some work with cardboard rolls, on another occasion it was Paloma who brought us this fun vase.
