"The enigma of Bakerville": an interactive children's novel exclusive to iBooks

Salva and Judith are two eight-year-old children who are neighbors and friends since they both moved to a city called Bakerville. Almost unintentionally they are involved in an adventure to get decipher a mystery whose starting point is the theft of a book unique in the Municipal Library. They will have the help of their parents (a police officer and a librarian respectively).

"The Adventures of Salva: The Enigma of Bakerville" It is an interactive book (exclusive for iBooks) that has just been launched and you can read on iPad or Mac. It has been developed by Boome, you can find it in the Apple store, and it costs 2.99 euros.

It is bilingual (English and Spanish), and the amount of resources that help the small reader to get involved in the plot through the map of Baskerville, the deciphering of a mysterious note and the discovery of the culprit, in first person attending the conversation between This and the two protagonists.

We have enjoyed reading it ... it is intended children between six and 11 years old, and their potentials are better appreciated in mobile device, since the screens are tactile, and you just have to touch the different resources to move forward

Your children will test their skills as detectives, emulating and learning from Salva and Judith, or who knows? developing new ideas about the plot and the mystery to solve.

I have seen that in Boome they offer the possibility of downloading the first two chapters for free, though: they are only a snack of what awaits you, that is to say, a carefully designed and attractive youth novel for the little ones.

Your children can read it alone or in your company. I think you will find it exciting to discover the contents of an envelope, tour the Library, and discover the relationship that a museum piece has to the case.
