More activities in the Maphre Pavilion of the Book Fair

I recently presented you with the great activities that the Maphre Pavilion at the Madrid Book Fair. However, there are more possibilities that complete an excellent opportunity to approach with our children the fascinating world of books in those days.

There will be a mask workshop which mixes narration, magic games and crafts, in which children will create a character and make a mask that can then be worn. In this way children can overcome their shyness through the mask while promoting their manual motor skills and collective participation.

Another activity will be the beautiful storyteller of Nelson Calderón entitled "Let's help the world"in which concepts such as recycling and pollution are explained through stories and magic, explaining in a playful way what we can do together to take care of the world.
This storyteller will also present another activity called "Tales with a lot of value"in which popular stories from Africa, America, Europe and Asia will be told, which for centuries have taught children values ​​such as solidarity, respect and honesty.

The third of his proposals is entitled "So different and so equal"The story to be presented is about a child, Carlitos, who returns to school after the holidays ... but there is something that is not the same as last year ... there are new classmates: Kalem, Ye Hua and Dario, each of a part of the world, each with its own peculiarities and its own stories.The four, despite their differences, will end up understanding in their children's language the equalities that bring them closer and that show that they are not as different as it seems. Its objectives are to educate in multiculturalism, the value of difference and tolerance.

The music will also have a place with a musical story called "A walk through the Zoo"in which the Young Orchestra Juan Crisótomo Arriaga will accompany a workshop in which different issues of music are explained: dynamics, instruments, polyphony, etc. Everything articulated around a musical story that has been written and composed to sound together.

And to complete this very complete offer, the Pim, pum, pam group will perform the "Little Blue Planet"in which a small alien must pass a series of tests to save the world from environmental pollution.

The schedule of Maphre Pavilion at the Madrid Book Fair for the general public it will be for the workshops from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the holidays although they will offer activities for the whole public: from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (Monday to Friday) and 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
