Simple Halloween crafts: monstrous dishes to hang on the wall

It is finally October 31, the most anticipated day for many children around the world Halloween. The day has come and with it our hurries because almost certainly we will have forgotten decorate the house for Halloween.

Today I will teach you how to make a Last-minute Halloween crafts: frankenstein dishes, pumpkins and bats to hang on the wall and decorate our house for Halloween.

This quick and simple craft and will help you in case of trouble decorating the house for Halloween at the last minute. Of the materials that I propose to use, you can replace most of them, if you do not have colored plates, you can take some white and paint them, the same with your eyes.

Material needed to make crafts with children

  • Colored dishes (I used some oranges for pumpkins, black for bat and green square for Frankenstein's face).
  • Sheets of felt or white, black and / or gray eva cardboard (it is cheaper than felt)
  • Eyes sticker
  • Scissors
  • Black marker pen
  • Glue
  • Green tape or washi tape

How to make monster dishes for Halloween

1. We can start by letting children hook their eyes to the plates. The ones we had at home have adhesive but it was so complicated to peel off the paper that we ended up using glue, so while my son was sticking his eyes to the plates (some ended up with the eyes on the back of the neck ... but he had a great time, That is what counts!)2. Meanwhile, we mark the edges where we want to cut on the back of the sheet: the wings of the black bat, the fangs of white, the hair and the screws of Frankenstein of gray or black and the Black pumpkin mouth.3. Finally, we glue them on the back with adhesive tape or glue and put double-sided tape to stick them on the wall.

For children not so young, you can have all the material already cut and prepared for them to stick, I recommend that you do not show them the final result so that they themselves invent what the faces of the monsters will be like, who knows, maybe the Wings of the bats look fantastic as pumpkin teeth and Frankenstein's hair are very funny wings for bats. Let them experience and have fun while you watch them.
