The Tropos Theater group represents the play Los Tres Cerditos in the town of Navacerrada

In the picture you can see the children in the town of Navacerrada from Madrid attending delighted to the representation of The Three Little Pigs by the Tropos Theater Company. For almost an hour, the children were very aware of the evolution, a very simple spectacle made basically with glove dolls. As they say on their website, they barely have a stage set, just the puppeteer's theater without decorations or backdrops. The adaptation of the story is really nice, creative and very fun not only for children, but also for the elderly who accompanied the children while attending attentive to the function.

The show did not disappoint, it was a lot of fun and everyone was delighted and very happy. And it is that children always like that game of guessing where the bad guy is, letting the good know and slapping the malandrín that in the end comes scalded.

Tropos Theater It emerged as a group of friends who started making puppets for fun in the 90s. At the end of the 20th century he established himself as a professional company and, in collaboration with P. Cachivache SL, created his first show called Federico based on the poetry of Federico García Lorca. They have also created works such as The Story of Captain Ajab and The Adventures and Misadventures of Kiko (1999), The Three Little Pigs (1999), The Brave Little Tailor (2000), The Knights of Fish (2001), And dreams, dreams are ( 2002), Pequeñeces (2004), El Monstruito (2007) and Little Red Riding Hood (2009).

They are a stable company that has been to many festivals throughout Spain: Galicreques, Redondela, FETEN, Bilbao, Tolosa, etc. And in every place they visit they leave many friends besides some children full of illusion.

They have also created the Tropos bookshop and Puppet Planet, spaces on the Internet where you can buy books on puppets that include dramatic texts for puppets, their construction or techniques applied to education. There are also DVDs, puppets, theaters and much more. Although Tropos Librería no longer has physical space, many products can be found in Planeta Títere, an online store where you can access a world related to puppet theater, from books and magazines to dolls, or even shows for schools.

We congratulate Tropos Puppets for their drive, their dedication, their passion and their contagious illusion to entertain children and make them dream with a lot of imagination. During the time we were there we had a great time and the children applauded happily. It will be a pleasure to see them again and if they act in your town or nearby you should not miss them and go with the kids.
