Can 12 children and a teacher start changing the world? Find out by reading the book about the boys of The Fourth Snout

It is not the first time that we have spoken in Peques and Más de El Cuarto Snout: a Virtual Protective of Animals run by children who have removed consciences where they have passed. There are 12 students from a Rural Group Center of Zaragoza, and together with their teacher César Bona have been since they were in Primary School meeting their goals without rest. Today I come to tell you that a book about them has been published, extended (nothing less!) by Dr. Jane Goodall, whom we all know for being one of the people who best knows the behavior of chimpanzees, and a brave activist for the rights of great apes; In addition to the Institute he directs collaborates with other causes, such as this center for disabled children in Congo.

The components of The Fourth Snout when they received an Award for the Initiative most committed to animal protection

Yes, as you read, the girls and boys of El Cuarto Hocico, and their teacher, star “How 12 children and a teacher sought to change the world”, an example of child protagonism in a society 'dominated' by adults, who often do not take into account the smallest

In the work you can read how this union movement began that changed the meaning of their education; and also reflects about how little ones can also change things. In the book we will discover that each of these little 'big' protagonists knows how to speak in public to defend their arguments, and we will realize that empathy can become a daily tool of schools.

Opinions of parents and other teachers who know them have been included, as well as the appreciation of people from the world of culture. Dr. Goodall affirms that 'the children of The Fourth Snout are a perfect example of how children get excited about changing things when they are given the chance to act in the face of problems.'

If you are interested in animal protection, and if you want to bring it closer to your children, if these children have infected you with their enthusiasm, or if (you simply) trust fully in childhood, this is your book. You can also give it to nephews, grandchildren or children of friends, or give it to the classroom where you teach, so that your students discover that the things we do not like about this world in which we live, can begin to change.

On the Facebook page of The Fourth Snout, you will find all the information about the public presentations of the book, in case you are interested. The work has been published by Ediciones Hades, and you can order it in bookstores, it has a price of 18 euros.
