A doctor dresses in Chewbacca to announce to a patient that the expected heart transplant has finally arrived

Austin is a true Star Wars fan and therefore, when five months ago his body stopped responding to the treatment and became part of the donor waiting list, he reached a peculiar agreement with his doctor. The pact was that the Dr. Phillip Thrush would disguise himself as Chewbacca when the expected heart arrived to announce the news to the 15-year-old.

In this occasion, Austin was admitted preparing his body medically for the future operation. Last Saturday he underwent a regular check-up and nothing seemed to be different that day. But suddenly there it was, Chewbacca.

That waits. Wait, wait, wait ... Do we have a heart? Do we really have a heart? It's the first thing Austin managed to pronounce.

Once Dr. Phillip Thrush confirmed the news, in addition to dancing they hugged excitedly.

The video, posted on the hospital's Facebook page, already has more than 330,000 views and has been shared more than 4,000 times.

Austin's story

As we have been able to know through different media Austin was born with three congenital heart defects and he spent a lot of time treating himself medically until he occupied the transplant list.

He is a big Star Wars fan as you can see and he has also spent his long days in the hospital campaigning through his Twitter account asking Marvel to filter the movie "Avengers Infinity" for children who are hospitalized and cannot go to see her.

@Marvel As someone waiting for a heart transplant how many retweets do I need to get a showing of Avengers Infinity war shown to the children at @LurieChildrens Chicago who may not be able to see it in theaters. Please @Marvel as someone who loves you guys I want this! #Avengers
