The week in Babies and more: February 4 to 10

As every week, we are going to offer you a brief summary of the topics that appeared in Babies and more the previous week.

We have had important news in our blog, since we released two new editors: Mmar and Eva Paris, who dedicated their first post to introduce us to their precious baby.

Regarding the health of the mother and the child, we have learned how to relieve carpal tunnel syndrome, that video games with good use can improve visual health and that the oral health plan is already underway. We talked about celiac disease and the importance of information on gluten-free foods and about the European Project to prevent it. They explained to us when it is necessary to see a child sleep specialist. We also learned that Manos Unidas started a campaign to improve the health of moms in the third world.

To prevent diseases we present the new Vaccine Calendar and also a trick for vaccines: a spoonful of sugar to prevent pain. And to continue avoiding them now we already know that traumatic experiences in pregnancy can cause schizophrenia and that children of separated parents may have a higher risk of social problems. And watch out for lotions and colognes that may have some kind of risk to the baby's health. In order not to have a premature birth we have to avoid following the American way of life. And speaking of America, Santiago and Sofia are the preferred names among Latinos.

One issue that is talked about a lot because of its importance is obesity from different points of view, so we knew that France has been seriously launched to combat childhood obesity and Lola explained to us how important it is to eat as a family. We indicate that to prevent it, vending machines must be healthier

We also talk about a topic on which we would like not to have to write, such as the figures of child abuse in Spain

Useful things for the little ones that we have discovered are colorful pacifiers, mini-vats, bags to store bibs and others to put diapers and other baby things. And for sweet moms give special chocolates to them.

We ask you two questions, what do you think about the colecho and the dilemma about babysitting or nursery.

And to read, we rediscovered a book "The feminine art of breastfeeding" for moms, and for the little ones "The music clock" and we met a new blog "Going out to win"
