A painting made by children of 2 and 3 years triumphs at the art fair "ARCO"

This is a news of almost 3 years ago, however today I watched the video and I found it as curious as hilarious and that is why I wanted to share it with Baby's readers and more: A painting made by 2 and 3 year old children triumphs in ARCO, the Contemporary Art Fair of Madrid.

The trap was made by the program "The Seeker" by Telecinco. They gave 2 and 3-year-old children from a nursery paintings and material to freely paint a blank canvas and, once the “work of art” was made, they looked for a corner in the ARCO fair and hung it.

A journalist of the same program stayed next to the painting to ask visitors what she thought of the painting and what she thought about the price of the same, 15,000 euros.

What do you think of the painting?

The responses were very diverse. There were those who saw in the painting a sign of "despair", "anguish" and even "sadness". There were those who said that the artist was trying to "find a new way."

They said of the artist that he was probably a "very experienced" man, since it was a very complex work that showed that there was "a lot of meditation behind" and there was even one who perceived a great "repressed" sexual pulsation.

What do you think of the price, 15,000 euros?

No one thought the painting was expensive (normal, with all the meditation that was behind him) and there were even those who justified the price by saying that "the mixture of colors is very worked".

Give think

Of course, the subject has to think. The reporter finished the report asking: Is it assumed that a painting has quality only because it is in ARCO ?, which is probably the crux of the matter.

I ask, in addition, are children capable of doing works of art or are there artists who tease us doing works that a child might well have created?
