The precious gesture of an 8-year-old boy, comforting his partner with autism during the first day of school

Back to school can be very difficult for some children. Whether they change classes, enter a new school or have never been to school before, the first day of school can be an experience that makes them nervous and scares them.

Fortunately, sometimes there are angels that help them not to feel alone. This has been captured by the emotional viral photograph, which shows the precious gesture of an 8-year-old boy who, without knowing him, comforted and accompanied another child with autism during the first day of school.

Once again, a child gives us a great lesson: it costs us nothing to accompany others so they don't feel alone. The empathy that many children can have during their childhood is something that we can take note of and certainly put into practice ourselves.

A gesture as simple as asking "do you need anything?", Give a hug, hold hands or just let the other person know that he is not alone, he can do much more than we imagine. And that is precisely what happened with a couple of children during the first day of school and was captured in an image.

The photograph, which has now gone viral, was originally taken and published by Courtney Moore, Christian's mother, the 8-year-old boy we can see holding his partner, who He wanted to capture his son's first day of school and got something better: a very special moment between him and another classmate who was crying.

According to Courtney's post, Christian saw the other boy crouched crying in a corner, so he came over to comfort him and took him by the hand to enter school together: "It is an honor to raise such a loving and compassionate child! He is a child with a big heart, the first day of school started correctly"he says.

The image quickly went viral, so that it also came into view of someone in particular: April Crites, the mother of the child who was crying, whose names is Connor and has autism. Seeing her, He didn't hesitate to leave a comment thanking Christian for helping his son:

"Tell your son that I thank him very much! That little boy that he helped is my son and he has autism, I worry every day that I may suffer bullying for being different, and your son absolutely touched my heart. If there were more children like him, I wouldn't have to worry about things like that".

Christian's mother shared April's comment in another post, where you can also read the comment of Connor's grandmother: "Thank you very much for raising such a wonderful child. More parents need to teach their children to be compassionate. Thank your son from me and my husband, the child he helped is our grandson and has autism".

Courtney responded to April explaining that Christian also has some differences in relation to the other children, because he has problems with his language and that both children are unique in their own way: "I hope this is the beginning of a new friendship for our two children. Your son was very sweet".
